Hit the dollar store, the grocery store and the gunshop. Snagged the last two boxes of .22 ammunition and that was 20 minutes after it opened. Amazing.

Sure! On a side note here; Jerry D. Young's books are available for download at a buck a pop. I'm downloading these as fast as I can read them. Lots of ideas.

Whenever I buy rice in large quantities I throw it in the freezer for about 4 days then package it in mylar, oxygen absorbers tossed in in 5 gallon buckets. I picked up that tip here.

I recommend Emergency Food Storage and Survival Handbook by Peggy Layton. Very comprehensive and includes worksheets to calculate how much of every type of food to store for your family's need.

I think there were a few but you'd have to check the MA forums.
