They'll have to move to Mass. or Vt. for their benefits. ;)

Re: The American people have been played once again

The American people have been played once again and Dylann Roof got exactly what he wanted, which was to put a wedge between people. It did not have to be this way, everyone condemned his actions. The gun, the flag, his sex or the color of his skin was not the cause. Every person that murders anoth...

Re: new need help.

Honestly? I'm not going to insult you but I'd focus on getting employment and forget about living in the woods, unless you're on vacation. You could join the military if you can pass the test. One option.

Re: A New(Used) Gun

Tom, thanks for your post. I think a .22 would suit as I'm more accustomed to that caliber but options are open. I need to be able to fire some before I make a decision, if I really decide that's what I want to do. I usually take my time about these things. Took me forever to decide I wanted that pa...

Re: Gun Regulations and Loss of Gun Rights

A conviction is not the same thing as a restraining order. No doubt that the system may be abused but restraining orders can reinforce the fact that it's not okay to use one's spouse(either husband or wife) as a punching bag. and wives don't lie like Satan's whore when it comes to restraining order...

Re: Gun Regulations and Loss of Gun Rights

Seems to me it's a simple enough matter to check a state's gun laws with regard to filing restraining orders. Most of the questions asked about gun laws can easily be looked up.

Terrapin, my neighbor has several he's interested in selling. When I get a bit more money I'm sure we'll come to an agreement.

Re: A New(Used) Gun

Lynda, the Beretta is a very good gun and the 25 is good for close work. Good decision. As for rifles, I have a lever action (Henry in 45 LC to go with my Ruger Vacquero), several semi-auto rifles (AR and M1), some bolt rifles and a pump shotgun. A bolt action is inherently more accurate because th...

Re: Want a cashless society? Think about this.

Like everything else, learn to adapt to it. Most employers and retirement systems pay you electronically and don't issue paper checks anymore. It costs money. Simply remove your funds and get cash. I don't use paper checks to pay for anything but we do keep cash on hand.
