Important Info! Disinfecting ratios for Bleach

Recently in updating some infection control policies for health care I discovered a bunch of misleading and confusing information out on the net about dilution ratios to disinfect using common bleach.

Scary as it may be, there’s even a lot of confusion and misconceptions even in health care. Up until recently with new products coming online, bleach was the only thing recommend by the CDC to kill the spores that cause C. difficile a highly contagious intestinal disease that runs ramped in healthcare.

I had a heck of a time finding an official link to Clorox to use.

After days and days I finally found it under guidelines to disinfect barns, stables, hutches and kennels.

In this section it provides all the dilution ratios to disinfect floors, walls and showers, but then goes on into kitchens, emergency water, wells, and water supplies.

It also provides all the information you will need to disinfect seeds, crops and other agriculture needs.

It’s great information to copy off and keep on hand for disinfecting everything.
