I just found the site. Pretty good. I found it funny to watch the great ideas in this video (most of which I knew), and then think about some of the goofy survival shows on tv and see them not incorporate some of these ideas and they can not make fire. :(

Just saw this the other day, good video, good tips. Had to chuckle over all of his camera problems. Must admit he did come prepared to film.

Actually that was a very good video. Though I bet he used at least 4,000 calories getting a fire. Makes you stop and think.

I went out and tried making fire the morning after an all night rain using these suggestions. Worked great! Made a little oatmeal over it for breakfast using equipment in my BOB.
