Carry On Magazine presented by Taurus.

Postby CarlosB4 » Mon Feb 25, 2013 12:46 am

Hello Everyone,

I was at the store the other day when this magazine caught my eye in the sports magazine section called “Carry On” by Taurus. 2 things caught my eye quickly, firstly the magazine is very female shooter orientated as many articles are geared towards all types of female gun owners (My wife enjoyed an article) and secondly they had a Prepper article in it which I enjoyed. I glanced at it and although the entire magazine is based on Taurus firearms only (Which I am not a fan off really) it had some great articles to it. I will post the cover which I found online but I decided not to post a few pictures from within the magazines content since I don’t want to bring APN in any legal binds. But the Prepper article “Prepper Pistols” by David M. Foster has got some very intelligent writing to it as he bench marks “Prepping With Taurus” which I found catchy. The photography is outstanding, the main Prepper photo is of a burning bridge in the back ground and a prepper walking away holding his daughter in one arm and holding a Taurus PT 92 in his other hand. I will not go too deep into what the article talks about, but I will say that although I am not a Taurus fan I do like the way this magazine has been presented.

It seems that the Taurus fans are going nuts over this Magazine: http://www.taurusarmed.net/forums/firin ... ublix.html

This was the image that caught my eye, it was a well written article but I will not post the article as it may bring issues.

According to the Article Preppers should be getting into:
Taurus PT 24/7 G2
Taurus PT 92
Taurus PT 1911

Since Taurus reorganized and upgraded their manufacturing facilities their quality has improved greatly. I own 2 of their newer pistols and they are of the same quality and finish as my Berettas.

She's sponsored by Taurus, and her Cowboy shooting reload technique on the 1897 trench broom is something else
